FAQ
DJ Services
How much do you charge?
We’d love to give you pricing info, but first we’ll need to get to know your unique needs and what’s important to you. We customize our services for each client we work with and our pricing can vary quite a bit. Our services start at $1,500 and most couples invest between $2,500 and $4,500. We’d love to chat to get to know you so that we can give you a custom quote that hits all your needs.
What’s included in your DJ services?
Our DJs also act as the Emcee and provide all the music and equipment you’ll need for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The only thing we’ll need from you or your venue is a table to set up on and electricity nearby our setup location. We also provide a thorough pre-wedding planning experience consisting of a custom-made online profile platform and collaborations with our staff and your DJ.
Should I tip my DJ?
Tips are always appreciated but never expected. If you feel your DJ went above and beyond your expectations, tipping is a great way to thank them.
What equipment do you use?
We use all professional grade, top-of-the-line gear. Our speakers are JBL and QSC, our mics are Audio-Technica, Sennheiser and Shure, and we use Mac computers. If you have more specific questions, just ask!
Can we come to a wedding to see you DJ?
Nope, sorry (unless you were invited by the couple getting married, and if that’s the case- totally!). We’re pretty sure you wouldn’t want uninvited guests to show up at your wedding and we respect that. Also, we want to be able to focus 100% on making your day amazing- not be distracted by trying to sell our services to another couple during your wedding. And even if you were to come to a wedding we were DJing, there’s a good chance it wouldn’t reflect what we would do at your wedding because you aren’t like any other couple we’ve DJ’d for… and we’re glad about that!
Do you have a sample playlist or sound clips of your DJ work?
No playlist we could show you or SoundCloud link we could send you would be an accurate representation of what we will play at your wedding. We’ll curate our music selection for your wedding based off of your personality, style and preferences to create a one-of-a-kind soundtrack for your day.
Can you incorporate our ethnic traditions into your services?
We’d love to! We have tons of experience incorporating Jewish, Russian, Chinese, Indian, African, Latin and many other traditions into our DJ services, and we are always eager to learn and incorporate new ones!
Our ceremony is in a remote location with no power. Can you deal with that?
We totally can! We have speakers and microphones that are 100% battery powered so we can provide our services anywhere. Just let us know if battery powered equipment is something you’ll need.
What will you wear to my wedding?
We will dress like a guest at your wedding. No tacky sequin vests or cheesy $50 tuxedo. We’ll look good, but if your wedding has a specific dress code (like black tie) please just let us know.
Live Music
How much do you charge?
Depending on the type of musician or group you are looking for, pricing can vary drastically. Certain types of musicians start at $395 for a ceremony or cocktail and our rates go up from there. Let us know what you’re looking for and we can give you a custom quote. Or if you have a specific budget in mind, we’d be happy to let you know what type of live music options will fit into that budget while also fitting your style.
Who are your musicians?
We have a huge network of working professional musicians on our roster. The musicians we work with all perform for a living and are part of some of the most prestigious musical groups in the area.
What can they play?
Short answer: pretty much anything. Our musicians are professionals and can play music whether it’s been in their repertoire for years or it’s a brand-new tune to them. If a song you request is not in their current repertoire but there is sheet music available for the type of musicians you are utilizing (which is the case the vast majority of the time) there is typically no additional fee. However, if sheet music is not available, we can have a custom arrangement created for your musicians to play, which will incur an additional fee.
Photo Booth
What all is included in the photo booth?
We offer both digital and print options. With our digital option, photos, gifs, and boomerangs can be sent to you and your guests via text, email, or QR code. With our print option, we provide unlimited photo strip prints, a photo guestbook, and a photo booth attendant to ensure everyone is having an awesome time and everything runs smoothly. Both options include digital photo filters and props (if you want them).
Do we get a photo guest book?
Yes! If you go with a print option, a copy of all the photo strips from your wedding night will go into your photo guest book and your friends and family will get to sign and write a message to you next to their photos. Way more fun than the traditional guest book!
Are there props?
Yep! Unless you don’t want to utilize them. You are also welcome to bring your own, if you want.
How many people can fit into the booth?
Usually, in the photo booth we see groups between 1 and 8 people, but we’ve had over 20 people in a single photo booth session!
